I took water samples on Dec 26, 2012, and the pool came back with 270 pCi/L and the source water from the sump room under the pool at 408 pCi/L of radon. My Gamma-Scout Geiger counter was showing completely normal levels of radiation in the pool area. MarkRose (talk) 16:28, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia → Radium Hot Springs – Name is unique, no secondary uses exist (other than the springs themselves), target is redirect to current title.     • We could build a stub for it - or a redirect to Harrison Hot Springs#Hot spring. It's not the primary use of the term in BC or in Canada; if you're going to Harrison Hot Springs you'd mean the village, for example. the dab if there was one for a stub would be, as a geographic feature, Harrison Hot Springs (British Columbia) of maybe Harrison Hot Springs (hot spring), though I see little point in such a stub, unless there's copious geologic/thermal information that would be worthwhile; it is in any case named for the town (note the name).Skookum1 (talk) 11:44, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
      • Similarly Skookumchuck Hot Springs is about both the ghost town and the hot spring itself (this was "St. Agnes' Wells" vs Harrison's "St. Alice's Well" originally); modern name for the IR community and band government is Skatin.Skookum1 (talk) 12:11, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • This is about Radium Hot Springs, not Harrison Hot Springs, and I'd heard of it before (in Canada), but not the town per se. Just hte hot springs themselves and the resorts built on it. The reviews for the spring waters are about the hot springs not the town, or the resorts that use the spring water. And the article says the town is "Radium, BC, Canada" per common parlance. -- 70.50.151.11 (talk) 00:39, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
      • And Harrison Hot Springs is also "Harrison" in common parlance. I used Harrison and Skookumchuck (also known in short form) here by way of examples. You're perfectly welcome to stub off and expand any of the three as a separate geothermal-object article, but I don't see the point. And your observation about "Radium BC" partly comes from the whistlestop ("railway point") and though we do say "Radium" for the town, we also say "Prince" for Prince George, "Rupert" for Prince Rupert, FSJ for Ft St John and "North Van" and "West Van"....and "Pen" for Penticton....so your point about "Radium" is irrelevant...... and given the avidity of your following my activities these last few days, and noting you're in St. Laurent/Montreal (so GeoLocate says anyway) and your clear knowledge of Wikipedia guidelines, I gotta ask why you don't sign in under your regular username and identify yourself. BTW your items on Logan Lake from Ohio were ridiculous and WP:UNDAB is clear about items like that not being admissible.         • I didn't object to your Logan move. Several US articles are disambiguated as "X-place, Y-county". And I'm not following you around. Your move requests show up at the listing page WP:RM where all such requests end up.
