Mar Addai II Patriarch of The Ancient Church of the East

Mar Addai II (born Givarghis, 1 August 1950, although to some sources cite 1946 or 1948) is the Patriarch of the Ancient Church of the East and resides in Baghdad, Iraq.[1]

He was elected to the position in February 1970, several months after the death of Mar Thoma Darmo, and consecrated 20 February 1972. [2]
