it is funny that in this map there are places in borders of Turkey not having Turkic people.I actually lived in those places and spoke "Turkic" language with "Turkic" people.

  • Kurds and some other ethnic groups in Turkey dont speak turkic language but because of the offical language of turkey is turkish; about to %90 of this groups speak turkish in social life. On the other hand why Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and Kırgızistan dont full painted. Their offical languges are their turkic languages [1] --78.165.205.100 (talk) 10:12, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

this map is insulting[edit]

how come there are no turks in the east of turkey! what are you trying to achieve?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.156.52.98 (talk) 07:32, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dots in Europe[edit]

What are the small dots of Turkic peoples in Central and Northern Europe? What is that Turkic area between Lithuania, Belorussia and Poland? Is there really an area full of Turkic people, or is the dot representing overall Turkic minorities in these countries? What is the turkish "sector" in the easternmost part of Finland? There can not be such! Its ridiculous! That place is almost uninhabitated forest. Is there a Turkic tribe out there in the woods left unnoticed by the native Finns? :) 193.65.112.51 (talk) 15:08, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can explain turkic spoken people in europe:

  • Tatar people in Finland and Ukrain etc
  • Immigrant people from Turkey to Deutchland, Belgium etc.
  • Muslims in Thrace part of Greece(Turkish), Gagauz people in Greece(Christian).
  • Turks ang Muslim Gagauz in Old-Yugoslavia and Bulgaria
  • Gagauz people in Moldovia
  • Tatars and Turkish people in Romania
  • Turkish or Gagauz spoken gypsies--78.165.205.100 (talk) 10:04, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Totally biased[edit]

Who is deciding on these dots? Where are the millions of Turkic peoples of Europe, east and west? This is just a funny map drawn by people with agendas. See eastern Turkey.--Nostradamus1 (talk) 00:36, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree with you... although there is alot of kurds in eastern turkey... there is still TURKS living there aswell! this map makes it look as though there is no turkish people in eastern turkey! Maybe we should create a map shwing the countries were they are located... Turco85 (talk) 14:39, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There s inconsiderable Laz population near Trabzon and Rize. About 1.5 million Turkish living there... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.228.17.65 (talk) 12:56, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
