Problem with this flag[edit]

According to the official report on the Sagallo Incident written by French Admiral Olry who led the operation, the Russians were flying the Russian merchant ensign ("le pavillon de commerce russe"). That would be the flag with the three horizontal bars similar to the current Russian flag. Therefore, this flag shown here (a navy flag, I think) is no good.

Also, there never was such a thing as a "Russian Somaliland".--Lubiesque (talk) 00:05, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
