Note that this rationale has been considered insufficient and the image removed from the article. Stifle (talk) 09:51, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the rationale is more than sufficient and that the image is well within both the letter and the spirit of Wikipedia's non-free content policy--see NFCC rationales, see NFCC criterion 8, see NFCC guidelines, see sourced critical commentary in image caption, lower in article section (see subsection Visual and other elements), and in subsequent article section. The image has been restored to the article.—DCGeist (talk) 19:01, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As for the caption: The text of the caption might well be added to the article, but the presence of the image would not increase readers’ understanding of the caption in any way. The caption is about the album – not the cover art.
As for the “Visual and other elements” section: Use of the image might slightly increase readers’ understanding of the topic, but it is a stretch to say “its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic,” as required by WP:NFCC#8. This is demonstrated by the fact that you place the image more than a full screen above this mention of the cover art and the fact that no one seems to feel a need to illustrate the other visual elements mentioned in the section. —teb728 t c 20:58, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
