Dwarf-names[edit]

No, the Norse names like Dwalin are not translated from Khuzdul. The Dwarves never taught their language to others (though some place-names leaked out), and that includes their personal names; those of the Third Age, at least, used names of the Mannish languages around them, represented (like the names of Men of Rhovanion) by Norse. —Tamfang (talk) 04:47, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
