International poster[edit]

The currently used English poster - I believe, is not as relevant as the international poster. The uploaders argument that the film is English and thus should have an English poster is ridiculous. The film has been released internationally and so to suggest its main market as England and not acknowledge its availability to other countries nor its appeal is simply ignorant. - TunaStreet 17 January 2012

Firstly, the film is British, not English. There are many instances of British posters being used in articles when the film has been filmed and funded within the UK but distributed worldwide. The vast majority of US films have the poster for the US release. Are we to suggest that all of these are to have an international poster too? It appears to me that no one is suggesting that the film's main market is the UK, only that as a UK film the article should represent that in its poster. 217.33.79.34 (talk) 01:24, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
