Where these maps come from[edit]

I've seen these alot where a world map, with country borders from a variety of eras, indicates sections filled in with different colors to show nations, wars, etc. Is there a software program that does this? I would like to learn how if anyone can explain. -OberRanks (talk) 19:03, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gabon[edit]

In the episode Oganga, The Giver and Taker of Life, taken from "German East Africa, December 1916" and "Congo, January 1917," the expedition, including Indy, reach French posessions on the western coast of Africa, and Albert Schweitzer is kicked out of "Gabon" by the French authorities, i.e. French Equatorial Africa, which means that this regions should be added to the map. The Netherlands[edit]

In the episode Espionage Escapades Indiana Visits Amsterdam, this should be added to the map. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.96.86.115 (talk) 12:19, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesia and Papua New Guinea[edit]

In the Treasure of the Peacock's Eye Indy visits the island of Java which is in modern-day Indonesia (then it was the Dutch East Indies) and is marooned on the Trobriand Islands where he meets the anthropologist Bronisław Malinowski. The Trobriand Islands are part of modern-day Papua New Guinea. reinthal (talk) 07:29, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
