I do not beleive this photo is from 1941. Gene Autry appears too old for that and Gayle Davis would only have been 16 in 1941 and she had no career at that time. I believe the photo is much later when Miss Davis was on TV as 'Annie Oakley' in the 50s. The show was produced by Autry's 'Flying A' productions and I believe the photo was taken at that time as a publicity shot when they visted Toronto.
