Light greens[edit]

I don't want to sound demeaning but those two bright shades of light green (assuming there are indeed two shades of light green featured on this map) are too similar. I can't even tell them apart. States, Nations, etc.[edit]

Shouldn't the individual states of the USA be shown? I ask because the bullets in the legend say "states" and I doubt every state in the USA have been threated by a coup d'état. You really need a single source listing coup d'etats using a single definition. If quoting a hundred different sources then the authors will use different definitions of coup d'etat and you cannot combine them. (reset indent) I realize the points raised by Ultramarine are significant and relevant to the map and the entire article. However, I disagree that this is a violation of WP:NOR, but concede that the map can bring in complex WP:V issues due to the sheer number of sources used, which inevitably causes slight to moderate WP:BIAS in the map since multiple sources have differing definitions of a coup. Until a single WP:RS which summarizes worldwide coups is found, I recognise the fact that the information presented in the map is impossible to conclusively verify en masse, and retract all usage of the map on all mainspace articles.
