Malaysia's color should be assessing multiple standards or deploying multiple standards. The government has announced that it will adopt DVB-T, but the Media Prima is assessing DMB. Confirmed with a T-DMB/DMB-T/H dual-mode receiver that my mom brought in from China and I snuck into my workplace that happened to be in the said coverage range for testing. RAM (talk) 06:13, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is now confirmed that Malaysia is aiming for multiple standards deployment. The government now has both a DMB-T/H test transmission signal and a DVB-T test transmission signal. RAM (talk) 09:34, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Egypt doesn't yet broadcast in digital terrestrial format & didn't decide yet when will it do it. See [1] --Mahmudmasri (talk) 13:40, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nicaragua is intending on using ASTC just like most of Central America. (See ATSC#Countries_and_territories_using_ATSC). Why isn't it colored in? (User talk:Mbhskid520)

Maldives adopted ISDB-T. Please update it. http://www.maldivesembassy.jp/cat_054/7707 UnLiM (talk) 16:21, 15 November 2011(UTC)

The article about Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcast says that Laos (no mention if it is experimental or not) is part of the "Countries and territories using DTMB" yet, the map shows Laos as having the DVB standard; if this is wrong on the map then someone should change it to reflect this if not someone should change the “Countries and territories using DTMB” part of the article to reflect the reality. sion8 (talk) 02:50, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Israel uses DVB-T for a while now, although the map shows as if they have nothing. Appreciate adjustments. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.116.231.1 (talk) 19:40, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Margins[edit]

Should trim blank margins at the edges... AnonMoos (talk) 11:49, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Guyana[edit]

Is there any actual confirmation or source that indicates that Guyana will switch to DVB-T/DVB-T2? I can't seem to find any sources that support that claim, so the switch from "not chosen/not available" to "DVB-T" might be premature. Skbl17 (talk) 04:15, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Going by the edit summary, I think the editor was trying to colour Suriname instead of Guyana. However, the edit for Suriname is also wrong. Suriname is transitioning towards ATSC, not DVB-T (contrary to earlier reports). See the website of the Telecommunication Authority of Suriname, this article and this article. (And I can confirm by first-hand experience that Suriname broadcasts in ATSC). Fentener van Vlissingen (talk) 12:48, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Colors[edit]

Orange/red were not a good choice of colors: Someone can easily mistake Cuba as being part of the North-American standard. Likewise, with South Korea and China. I suggest changing orange to yellow. —capmo (talk) 03:32, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I changed red to purple, instead. —capmo (talk) 02:55, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
