The picture looks wrong, it has the ends mixed up. The primase is supposed to go from the 3' end to the 5' end, not the other way around, as in this diagram.

The template strand should be read 3' to 5', which is correct in this diagram, but the twists in the diagram don't make it any easier to comprehend. Oboenerd (talk) 17:56, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
