This sign just roughly presents the shape of Dram symbol on the 10,000 dram bill. The variations for this sign in the table below it do not correspond to the officially adopted shape at all. Moreover, they violate the meaning of the two horizontal strokes of the monetary symbols. On the other hand, there is already a number of officially developed Armenian computer fonts, a couple of which are mandatory for state organizations. And no of the fonts has semi-strokes like these variations of the sign. The fixing of situation would be appreciated, as it provoked a number of inappropriate usage of the sign.
