Artifacts issue[edit]

Rationale of Artifacts tag: This thing is MASSIVE. It should only be 100-200kb at the most. It looks like the preparer of the SVG simply used a tracer and then didn't rework the result.

I reworked the result and is now much smaller. It could still do with some refinements and checking for accuracy. Iain (talk) 06:03, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracy[edit]

the current version is incorrect, it pictures appendix having an infection as well, while it should not —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.56.26.230 (talk) 08:59, 1 May 2009

I have fixed it now. I copied the little blue colour block from stage 3 and pasted it over the brown in stage 2. I am not that familiar with Inkscape so I did not know how to change the shape of the brown block first. Well...if it works until someone who knows better comes along...--Joshua Issac (talk) 15:53, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have looked at the picture more carefully, and it seems that is how the other parts of the image are done, as well. I have deleted the extra nodes and re-uploaded now. --Joshua Issac (talk) 16:02, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Antibiotic impact[edit]

can anyone kindly expand upon resistance and vulnerability of the repository of bacteria in the appendix to antibiotics. i expect this repository is wiped out by antibiotics just populations in the intestines are. if that is not the case, it's very relevant to the probiotic industry and refining protocol for reintroducing bacteria after antibiotics. in developing countries this repository of bacteria for recovery post infection only serves when/because antibiotics aren't taken/available. much thanks for considering my clarification request.
