Ummm...[edit]

I'm not 100% sure, but the colored clothes and the use of basic modern-manufactured machinery points towards this being a photo of Mennonites and not Amish people. Ryecatcher773 (talk) 01:35, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • They're not Amish -- the photographer is just ignorant. Anyway, I wonder if he bothered to ask them for their permission to take the photograph of them in the first place -- let alone post it on the Internet. Somehow, I doubt it. 04:12, 23 April 2012 (UTC)


I was thinking the same thing. It's a low-res image, and it looks like it was taken from far away, without the family's knowledge or consent. Shouldn't it be removed anyway, since it's not even an Amish family? 184.38.28.204 (talk) 01:24, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
