Description
Français : L'ancien théâtre "Odéon" de Ploiesti tel qu'il existait encore en 1957. Il était situé dans la strada Toma Caragiu (la rue a changé de nom plusieurs fois). Entièrement reconstruit par les communistes, le bâtiment n'existe plus. A sa place existe le théâtre "Toma Caragiu".

Architecte : Toma T. Socolescu. Sa construction fut achevée en 1928. Cette photo est extraite de l'édition du 11 mai 1957 du journal communiste "Flamura Prahovei". Nous sommes les descendants et uniques ayant-droits de toute l’œuvre de Toma T. Socolescu (mort en 1960 à Bucarest).
English: The former theater "Odeon" Ploiesti as it still existed in 1957. It was located in the Strada Toma Caragiu (the street was renamed several times). Completely rebuilt by the Communists, the building no longer exists. In its place, there is another building hosting the theater "Toma Caragiu".
