Summary

Description
English: On the left is a color title card from the surviving two-color Technicolor Bal Masque sequence from the 1925 film The Phantom of the Opera. On the right is a black-and-white title card similar in style from the unmasking scene, but not sourced from the Eastman House, Blackhawk or Griggs Moviedrome 16mm reductions. It is from a 4 minute highlight reel which also features another exclusive shot of Chaney wringing his hands as he prepares to perform on the organ in his underground lair. The possibility exists that the unmasking scene was shot in Prizmacolor, but left unused until assembling the 1929 reissue.
