DescriptionThe entrance to Fixby Park from New Hey Road, Fixby - geograph.org.uk - 141895.jpg
English: The entrance to Fixby Park from New Hey Road, Fixby — in West Yorkshire.
A triumphal arch with a lodge on each side, built in the 18C. The gateway has a rather heavy top. The lodges each have a window set in a round arch, imitating the arch of gateway.
(Try not to notice the radio mast that appears to sprout from the top of the arch! It was quite difficult to find a clear view of the buildings).
