All plates are from the same printing. Number of Objects: 12 Object Order: a1-a9, b3, b4, b12 Note: Plates a1-a8, b3, b4, and b12 are from copy G; plate a9 is from copy I, there being no clearly-printed impression in copy G. Plate a9 from copy I is from the same printing session as the plates in copy G. It was only a later historical accident that separated plate a9 from those in copy G. Bentley plate numbers used here. Thorne; given in 1952 by Thorne to the Pierpont Morgan Library. Plate 9 (as arranged here) from copy I was probably added to that copy, mostly comprised of facsimiles, by H. Buxton Forman; the completed copy sold from Forman's collection, Anderson Galleries acution, 15 March 1920, lot 48 ($625 to the dealer A. S. W. Rosenbach); acquired from Rosenbach by George C. Smith no later than 1930; sold from Smith's collection, Parke-Bernet, 2 Nov. 1938, lot 13 ($1000 to Rosenbach, probably acting for Mrs. Landon K.
