Built at Castle Bromwich n 1941, AB910 is now operated by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. She currently wears 64 squadron markings and represents Spifire Vb ‘BM327’ when flown by Flight Lieutenant Tony Cooper on D-day.
She seems to have reverted back to the later style short exhaust stubs, which may look less authentic but certainly makes her sound better (in my opinion!).
She is seen during a series of flypasts at the Shuttleworth Collection’s ‘Flying for Fun’ evening Drive-in Airshow
