Summary

Description
English: Subglacial aquatic sediment continuous coring
This shows the UWITEC cable-suspended continuous coring method. The platform is cylindrical and can pass through the access borehole and penetrate the sediment. The lead ropes link between the surface winch and the underwater platform and the cable-suspended corer can repeatedly penetrate the same sediment borehole guided by the lead ropes.
