Photograph (1929) of Indian-Australian wrestler Buttan SINGH. Subtitled as: Meeting after 20 years. Twenty years ago, the well known Afghan wrestler, Buttin Singh, recognised as Australian's best, and one of the finest in the world, was a big draw card with Wirth's Circus. Wirth's Advance Manager, Charlie Petersen was with Wirth's then too, and is still doing the 'bustling'. Buttin Singh and Charlie Petersen renewed acquaintances when the circus hit town on Wednesday.
