Summary

Description
English: Following the sale of the Unix product by Novell in December 1995, both the Santa Cruz Operation and Hewlett Packard each occupied part of a leased office building on the campus of the Exxon Research and Engineering campus at 180 Park Avenue, Florham Park, New Jersey, to house their respective portions of Unix related work. Company logo signs were posted on key corridors to provide demarcation of each company's area of the building.

Here is a sign indicating a SCO area. In addition, the "SCOland Sheriff" watches over the corridor. This was a life-size cardboard cutout of C++ creator Bjarne Stroustrup, which SCO had inherited from the Unix System Laboratories days when that entity was promoting its C++ business, augmented with a hat, a bolo tie-with-badge, and a SCO business card.
