Description
English: Rhode Island political figure Rufus Hopkins painted as his father, Stephen Hopkins, in Declaration of Independence (1819), by John Trumbull. Lacking an image of the father, Trumbull obtained one of the son, who was said to bear a striking resemblance to the father.
