This cover is not free but qualifies as fair use under Wikipedia's copyright guidelines on logos as follows:
- Under United States law, this cover may be used on other sites for purposes of criticism and commentary. The Wikipedia article serves to do just that. Furthermore, the cover may not be used in an artistic or editorial setting. Its presence in the single infobox in the Vapor Trails article is neither artistic or editorial.
- There is no free equivalent, because one cannot be produced. The only allowable logograph is this cover, and any reproduction, digital or otherwise does not represent the university.
- In no way does this inhibit copyright policies set forth by Rush. It cannot and will not be used to sell merchandise or propagate advertisement.
- This is used twice in two Wikipedia articles. It is the highest resolution of the cover available to the public.
