Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Iacobeni, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în şef. În partea superioară, în câmp roşu, se află 5 scoici de argint, dispuse 3:2. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o coroană de spice de grâu, având în interiorul acesteia 4 spice în formă de cruce, totul de aur; coroana de spice este flancată de câte o ramură de brad de aur cu 3 conuri. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Scoicile reprezintă simbolul Sfântului Iacob, care dă denumirea localităţii. Crengile de brad simbolizează bogăţia silvică a zonei. Coroana de spice de grâu reprezintă una dintre ocupaţiile tradiţionale, agricultura. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
