English: A still from covert footage of North Carolina State Senator R.C. Soles Jr. shot by undercover FBI agents in a meeting with Soles in December 1981 during the course of the Colcor investigation. During the meeting the undercover agents asked Soles to introduce legislation that would allow for a local "liquor by the drink" referendum. Soles agreed to help but turned down the agents' offer of money. |
