Summary

Description
English: Plans for the project by the architects Botrel and Crepinet with the collaboration of Henri Duponchel, submitted to the first competition (February 1861) for a new design of an opera house for the Paris Opera. The project received the second place prize of 4,000 francs out of 170 entrants. These were the only architects to win who had not received of the Prix de Rome.
