English: Philip De Witt Ginder (September 19, 1905 - November 7, 1968) was an American career soldier who rose to the rank of Major General during the Korean War. Photo probably taken in 1945 when he commanded the 9th Infantry Regiment, a unit of the 2nd Infantry Division. (2nd Infantry Division insignia visible on left sleeve and helmet.)
