Summary

Description
English: Early 14th-century carved capital in All Saints parish church, Oakham, Rutland, England, showing part of the Annunciation (only the angel Gabriel is fully visible, on the left of this picture) and what is described in Nikolaus Pevsner's The Buildings of England: Leicestershire and Rutland (1960) as Adam and Eve. They appear to be shown at the Last Judgement, as Christ seems to be saving them from the jaws of Hell.
