This is a cropped edited version of the original image. Photo shows John Satchell (left) and father (right), with John Satchell's locomotive model in foreground. Satchell made the model as an apprentice mechanic. The model won a medal at the 1866-67 InterColonial Exhibition of Victoria (Australia). Further details about the image are at Museum of Victoria, image Reg. No: ST 037829, "Photograph - Hobson's Bay Railway Pier Shunting Engine Model & Modelmaker John Satchell, circa 1868". Museum of Victoria also hold the actual model, object Reg. No: ST 038379, "Steam Locomotive Model - Hobsons Bay Railway Pier Shunting Engine, No.5, 0-4-0WT Type, 1857"
