Español: Las fiestas principales de este ciclo se dedican básicamente a celebrar a los santos patronos, a conmemorar las fechas más relevantes de la Pascua de Navidad y a honrar a la Virgen María, una de las divinidades católicas más veneradas en la región (bajo las advocaciones de Guadalupe o la Virgen de Loreto). Durante este período, una sociedad ceremonial destaca por su activa participación en las fiestas: se trata de los matachines, los danzantes que dedican sus actuaciones a la Virgen.
English: The main festivals of this cycle are basically dedicated to celebrating the patron saints, commemorating the most relevant dates of Christmas Easter and honoring the Virgin Mary, one of the most venerated Catholic divinities in the region (under the auspices of Guadalupe or the Virgin of Loreto). During this period, a ceremonial society stands out for its active participation in the festivals: it is about the matachines, the dancers who dedicate their performances to the Virgin.
