PRIOR to entering the movies as an extra girl, Marian Nixon appeared in a dancing act on the Pantages circuit. Then Fox put her under contract and Tom Mix often rode fast and furious across the screen to rescue her - a damsel in distress. Marian was born in Superior, Wis., October 20, 1904. is 5 Feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds, has chestnut brown hair and brown eyes. She became a Wampas Star in 1924. Divorced From Joseph Benjamin in 1927, she married Edward Hillman, Jr., wealthy Chicagoan, in August, 1929.
