Minneapolis, Minnesota November 23, 2016 About 300 people met in south Minneapolis to march in protest against the proposed policies of President-elect Donald Trump. Protesters denounced bigotry, racism, Islamophobia, and Donald Trump's proposals on immigration. They called for preservation of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) which allows certain people who came to the United States as children to request deferred action on prosecution for a period of two years, subject to renewal. They also called for an end to deportations, immigration raids, and family detention centers.
