Description
English: Photograph of two men in civilian suits beneath an image of two Ku Klux Klansmen with rifles. Text printed below image: "the small man on the right is Dr. C. Kendrick; the large man is J.S. McFall. This is the only picture extant taken of Ku Klux in full uniform while on a raid. A painting of this picture is installed in the Mississippi Hall of Fame, and a photograph of the picture was placed in the cornerstone of the Confederate Monument at Shiloh by the Daughters of the confederacy. Below are the same men fifty years later." "Gift of Miss Margaret E. Spillman of Mount Vernon, Mo. June 1940." (printed on reverse side).
