Summary[edit]

Media data and Non-free use rationale
Description Portrait of American 20th century pop/jazz singer Imogene Lynn (video still)
Author or
copyright owner
I believe that Larry O'Reilly was the cinematographer (its a video still); he was working for RKO Pathe
Source (WP:NFCC#4) Original publication: It's a musical short, made in (I am pretty sure) 1942, and presumably published by being shown in theatres in that year

Immediate source: Band Chirps: https://bandchirps.com/artist/imogene-lynn

Date of publication 1942
Use in article (WP:NFCC#7) Imogene Lynn
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) for visual identification of the person in question, at the top of his/her biographical article
Not replaceable with
free media because
(WP:NFCC#1)
Lynn is dead. Per WP:NFCI #10, "Pictures of deceased persons, in articles about that person" the assumption is that this is allowable.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) It's used once, in the one file, as visual means of identification of a dead person, and on top of that it's a fuzzy video still.
Respect for
commercial opportunities
(WP:NFCC#2)
I dunno... it's quite a small fuzzy picture. It's not clear at all. Presuming that one somehow though there was significant demand for pictures of Imogene Lynn at this date, I would think one would want to use a better photo.
Other information The subject of the photograph has been deceased since: February 24, 2003
