À antiga ermida do século XVI sucedeu a atual igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, que foi concluída em 1728, no entanto, com o terramoto de 1755 ficou bastante danificada, tendo sido restaurada em 1858 e em 1904. A fachada principal e respetiva torre sineira estão revestidas a azulejos azuis e brancos do século XIX. No interior podemos observar um magnífico teto com pinturas sobre madeira de Pereira Cão, figurando no medalhão central a Padroeira, Nossa Senhora da Conceição, e outros dois mais pequenos com os bustos de S. Pedro e S. Paulo. As paredes da capela-mor estão revestidas a estuque marmoreado e talha dourada, do século XVIII, encontrando-se ainda quatro painéis sobre tela representando a Anunciação, a Visitação, S. João Evangelista e a Aparição do Anjo a S. Pedro. Esta igreja é Imóvel Classificado de Interesse Concelhio.
