Summary

Description
English: Averaged bonding pattern of the two neutral forms in the resonance of heptazine (tri-s-triazine). Those are forms I and II according to Pauling and Sturdivant (1937), which are mirror images of each other and hence could be assumed to be equally likely. The dashed lines represent 1/2 of a covalent bond.
