Summary

Braubachstraßendurchbruch hinter dem Steinernen Haus (Markt 44) in der Frankfurter Altstadt, Fotografie von 1904, Scan von einem Offsetdruck der Zeit.

Das Gerüst links im Bild steht vor dem im Moment der Aufnahme gerade entstehenden, historisierenden Neubau, der als Hintergebäude des Steinernen Hauses bis heute erhalten ist (Braubachstraße 35). Im Hintergrund sehen wir von links nach rechts das Salzhaus, Haus Wanebach, die Türme des Rathauses bzw. Rathausneubaus, die Seufzerbrücke, den östlichen Häuserblock des Paulsplatzes (1944 zerstört und nicht wieder aufgebaut) sowie dahinter den Turm der Paulskirche.

Urheberrechtliche Ansprüche dürften aufgrund des Alters erloschen sein, der nachweisliche Photograph, Carl Abt, starb 1922 und ist somit mehr als 70 Jahre tot.
