The installation a key focus in Ellen Harvey's post-2010 work, when she created archive- and landscape-related works exploring themes such as the picturesque landscape, environmental and man-made change, ephemerality and loss. This work is an archive of over 220 paintings Harvey created of sites that no longer exist—amusement parks, classical monuments, themed restaurants, etc.—remembered and submitted by online respondents as places they wished they could once again visit. These works were exhibited in installations mounted in museums and discussed widely by prominent publications and critics.

The project image serves an informational and educational purpose as the primary means of illustrating a key later phase that combined two thematic foci in Ellen Harvey's career in the late 2010s and 2020: her museum- and archive-related works—which used copies and collections of artworks or repainted scenes to create painted archives—and her landscape and mapping works, which explore notions of the picturesque landscape, environmental and man-made change, ephemerality and loss. These works combine Harvey's early focus on traditional painting conventions with an interest in describing existential memories that may include traumatic experiences (war, racism, and ecological disaster) or more mundane losses caused by technological change or gentrification. They have been commissioned by and exhibited in institutions such as Turner Contemporary and SMAK. Because the article is about an artist and her work, the omission of the image would significantly limit a reader's understanding and ability to visualize this type of work and key strategy in her practice. Harvey's work of this type and this work in particular are discussed in the article and discussed by prominent critics cited in the article.
