Summary

Description
English: Cruck-framed cottage from Stang End, Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton-le-Hole. This cottage stood for 500 years in Danby, and was moved to the museum in 1967-8. It has been restored to how it was in 1704, when it was extended from one room shared with animals to a proper house with a forehouse (living-room and kitchen), dairy and a parlour / bedroom.
