Description
English: Gram-stained faecal suspension sample obtained from hospital patient containing Clostridium difficile (Purple gram positive, rod-shaped bacteria) amongst other faecal fauna (e.g. Candida sp.) confirmed through C. DIFF QUIK CHEK COMPLETE rapid membrane enzyme immunoassay, which gave positive results for Clostridium difficile glutamate dehydrogenase antigen and toxin production.
