Description
English: Political cartoon by JM Staniforth. A group of Protestant lie in wait with a scarecrow, representing Protestant religious leader John Kensit, for Arthur Balfour. Comment on Kensit's announcement that he would challenge Balfour's seat of Manchester East at the next General Election. Staniforth was correct, Kensit never actually contested the seat.
