English: CLOW LED A REBELLION AGAINST THE COLONIAL GOVERNMENT; A FORT WAS BUILT ON THIS SITE WHICH WAS LATER DESTROYED. CLOW WAS ARRESTED IN 1782, CHARGED WITH MURDER, AND EXECUTED. THE CLARK HOUSE STANDS ON THE SITE NEAR WHERE THE FORT STOOD AND WAS POSSIBLY THERE DURING THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR |
