Zentralbild Albrecht 18.5.1953 800 Jahre Meiningen. 1953 werden die Bürger von Meiningen das achthundertjährige Bestehen ihrer Stadt im Meininger Theater feiern. UBz: Das Meininger Theater. In diesem Jahr feiert die Thüringische Stadt Meiningen ihr 800-jähriges Bestehen. Mit zahlreichen Feierlichkeiten und einem Festakt im Meininger Theater wird das Jubiläum begangen. Nachdem das Theater 1908 niedergebrannt war, konnte es nach seinem Wiederaufbau 1909 eröffnet werden und ist heute eine weit über Südthüringen bekannte Kulturstätte. |
