Nederlands: Amsterdamsch Tehuis voor Arbeiders (ATVA), Marnixstraat 266-340 Amsterdam. Architect Jan Ernst van der Pek, gebouwd 1916-1918. Het gebouw biedt plaats aan 350 bewoners en bestaat uit vier vleugels met haaks daarop aan de straatkant drie verbindingsstukken, vijf verdiepingen tellend. De begane grond bevat de voor gemeenschappelijk gebruik bestemde ruimten. Het rechtergedeelte bestaat uit eetzalen en een keuken, het middengedeelte bevat een schrijf- en een leeskamer en een kantoor. Het A.T.V.A. is gebouwd in een sobere, monumentale stijl, en het straalt een zekere rust uit. Het gebouw kan gezien worden als de bekroning op Van der Peks streven naar een maatschappelijk geëngageerde architectuur. Het A.T.V.A. vond navolging in Den Haag en Groningen en genoot zelfs bekendheid in het buitenland. Het was het eerste tehuis voor alleenstaanden in Amsterdam.Het is gerenoveerd in 1979 en is nu bestemd voor bejaardenwoningen en sociale woningbouw. Voor het gebouw ligt brug 100.
