Das durch seine Farbkombination als äußerst freundlich zu bezeichnende Wappen dokumentiert durch seine Symbole in ausdruckvoller Weise die Geschichte und Besonderheit Gröbmings: Die jahrhundertelange rechtliche Sonderstellung als Hofmark wird durch die beiden Lilienstäbe als Zeichen der Rechtsgewalt dargestellt, der Zahnschnitt in Silber dokumentiert die slawische Sprachwurzel "greben" und weist auf unser Gebirge "Kamm" hin und die zwölf Apostelkreuze als Symbol für den als Kulturgut zu bezeichnenden Apostelaltar in der katholischen Kirche geben Zeugnis der besonderen christlichen Verbindung.
